Groove Biopharma
Groove Biopharma focuses on the generation of novel microRNA (miRNA) therapeutics with improved properties, such as enhanced target selectivity and higher potency. RNA interference is critical for regulation of cell proliferation, development, differentiation, and metabolism. Endogenous microRNAs (miRNAs) are involved in extensive regulatory networks for many target genes and pathways. Groove Biopharma is a collaborative effort between Accelerator and Nanogen, a publicly traded biotechnology company. By incorporating proprietary technology into miRNA therapeutics, Groove Biopharma's technology presents promising potential for treating a wide range of diseases, including cancer and a variety of metabolic disorders.
