The ISB's faculty and staff have proven to be critical in both the identification and evaluation of potential investment opportunities, followed by creative contributions to the development strategies of Accelerator Companies. Access to ISB's core facilities enables Accelerator Companies to incorporate capital-intensive and expert-operated infrastructure and technologies into their scientific programs without the crippling capital outlays that would be needed to acquire, operate, and maintain these resources themselves.
